Operations

Throughout our operating site in Offenham in Worcestershire, our small dedicated team utilise energy saving technologies including rainwater harvesting and solar panel power.

Office & Workspace

Our small administrative team continue to work on initiatives to streamline and automate our processes, reduce printing, send communications electronically and reduce waste

Online Deliveries

With regard to online deliveries we utilise a multi-hub pallet delivery network that achieves higher levels of vehicle capacity utilisation.  The multi-hub model reduces the distance travelled by 4.5 million miles (7.5 tonnes of CO2 every 12 months) compared to other pallet delivery networks that utilise the single hub model.

Our chosen pallet delivery network are committed to ISO standards 14001:2015 and 50001, which require year-on-year improvements in order to retain the accreditations, and they have already cut energy usage by almost 20%.

Organic Vegetable Growing

Due to the extended growing period provided by Keder Greenhouses, our small and dedicated community team at Offenham regularly take part in planting and harvesting our vegetable crops including courgettes, cucumbers, peppers, chillis, green beans, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, garlic and herbs.

Other Company Initiatives

We continue to plant trees on company land and work with local land owners to promote greener environmental tree planting initiatives.

​

Environmental Awareness

We monitor all of our environmental aspects and impacts, and review these on a regular basis as part of our continuing drive for a more eco-friendly business.
